Bjorn Magnusson, with more than 20 years experience of the coast, has been appointed new Managing Director. Bjorn has previously held managerial positions within companies such as La Cala Resort and Viva Estates.

27/11 2008 Club Championship
Our Club Championship was held in superb weather conditions on 15 and 16 November. This 36 hole Medal Play competition is one of the most prestigious competitions in our yearly competition programme.
In the Ladies category Karin Franklin claimed the title followed by Lena Brolin and Berit Solmark in 2nd and 3rd.
Amongst the Men Björn Rönning once again managed to add yet another year to his large collection of Club Championship titles. Runner up was Josef Guttenkunst and 3rd Ralph Hammar.

3/6 2008 Renovation work on the golf course and Club house
With a total commitment to excellence Los Naranjos have started the first phase of a renovation and extension program involving work on the Golf course as well as the Clubhouse. All green surrounds and green bunkers will be renovated including introducing Tifway 419 Bermuda grass around the greens and re shaping the bunkers with new drains and sand.
20/5 2008 Los Naranjos Trophy 2008
The 15th edition of the Los Naranjos Trophy was played on the 28th of April to the 1st of May. This unique 72 hole stroke play competition for amateurs once again made golfers travel from all over the world to join what is now firmly established as the prime amateur event on the Costa del Sol.

Los Naranjos Golf Club has won the Golf Club of the Year award presented by the prestigious Marbella based magazine "Essential" for the second time in three years.
11/12 2007 Swedish business group buys Los Naranjos
The group of four international businessmen, Lennart Hall, Hans Fagerlund, Bengt Arne Bengtsson and Alexander Kotton, all members of Los Naranjos Golf Club, have purchased the Club from it's previous owner Mr Percy Nilsson.
21/1 2007 Los Naranjos International Senior Pro Am 2007
The Los Naranjos International Senior Pro Am, a classic event on the Costa del Sol and Spain's only Senior Pro Am, was played on the 19-21 of January 2007.
15/1 2007 New machinery at Los Naranjos
In the first part of a complete renovation program of our machinery, Hipergolf S.A. delivered two John Deere 3235 fairway mowers, four John Deere 220 green mowers, one John Deere 2653 Triple mower and two Smithco 3WD bunker machines in January 2007 to our Club.
