

The group of four international businessmen, Lennart Hall, Hans Fagerlund, Bengt Arne Bengtsson and Alexander Kotton, all members of Los Naranjos Golf Club, have purchased the Club from it's previous owner Mr Percy Nilsson and plan to invest in the region of 10-15 million euros to further upgrade the golf course, practice ground and Clubhouse with the view of creating one of Europes top golf facilities.
Mr Lennart Hall, new President of Los Naranjos Golf Club said: " We are investing around 45-50 million euros in this project because we believe in the potential of Los Naranjos. This course, designed by world famous golf architect Robert Trent Jones Sr, is one of Europes finest and our aim is that it will host European Tour events in the future. We will create a Club in line with the finest private courses in the United States, a high quality course in exclusive surroundings.
This takeover coincides with the Clubs 30th Anniversary and marks a new era for the popular Club that have a existing membership of around 200 members. The plan is to increase the membership to a maximum of 500 members which will make Los Naranjos one of the most exclusive Clubs on the Coast where memberships of 1200-1700 are common in neighbouring Clubs. A limited amount of shares will be put on the market at 70.000 euros plus an entrance fee of 25.000 euros. This offer will go out to a exclusive group of people in Scandinavia, Great Britain, Ireland and Germany among other countries.
Mr Percy Nilsson, previous President and owner said: " Los Naranjos have been my baby for a number of years now. I feel it's time now to hand over to others that will continue to further improve the Club and I will now concentrate on my other projects such as the new sport arena in Malmö, Sweden.
