Los Naranjos Trophy 2007

The Los Naranjos Trophy is a unique event. A 72 hole stroke play tournament open for amateur golfers up to hcp 18, it provides an opportunity to experience what it is really like to play a "tour event" complete with official starter, score board, leader board etc.

The 14th edition of this classic event was played on the 30th of April to the 3rd of May with 73 golfers from all over the world enjoying a golf course in prime condition. Over four rounds it's important to keep your game together and it's no surprise to see the more experienced players come out on top.

This year was no exception, local member Josef Guttenkunst from Austria was a very popular winner with a net score of 289, 7 shots clear of Ralph Hammar from Sweden with another swede, Mikael Andersson, a further 2 shots behind. Keith Boyson from England tied for fourth with Anastatis Panayiotis from Greece. Leading lady was Eva Lotta Broberg who finished seventh.

A number of competitors have now played in all 14 editions of the "Trophy" and have already filed their entry for the 15th edition to be played on the 28th of april to the 1st of May 2008. Why not join them, contact us for more information!
