From the beginning of June until the end of September; after playing golf at Los Naranjos GC you can … enjoy the rest of the day at the beach.

Marbella has more than 30 kilometres of beaches. So you can relax, eat in a beach club and certainly enjoy a swim in the Mediterranean.

This year 24 beaches have obtained the blue flag on the Costa del Sol.

With respect to Marbella; it is the city with more blue flags within the province of Malaga. In fact, 5 beaches have received this award in 2017.

Obtaining the blue flag certifies the environmental quality of the beaches. This title measures the Quality of the waters, Information and environmental education, Environmental Management and Security, services and facilities.

Currently these beaches are Artola, El Cable, El Faro, Casablanca and San Pedro de Alcántara (Guadalmina).

What are the best beaches to visit during your holidays in Marbella?

Apart from the beaches with blue flags and depending on the activities you want to do, you can enjoy many more beaches.

For example, the Royal beach of Zaragoza; with fine golden sand, clean waters and fantastic “chiringuitos” (beach restaurants). However, if you are looking for fun, parties, Champagne and sunsets, Nikki Beach needs no introduction.

On the other hand, for those who travel with their family, one of the preferred beaches in Marbella is the Alicate beach. This beach has a large number of bars, restaurants, a beach club, showers, toilets, umbrellas and deck chairs. In addition, the restaurant Los Sardinales has a parking with more than 100 places available.

In conclusion, Marbella is a unique destination to combine sporting activities with the beach during your summer holidays.
